PHP Hypertext Preprocessor
It is a server-side scripting language which uses the HTML scripts for web designing. Besides that
it is also used as general purpose programming language to give instructions to computer. It was created
by Rasmus Lerdorf in 1994 and came into existence in 1995.

It is process of designing a website. Designing process involves planning, creating and updating

It is generally abbreviated as LAN. It is a group of computers which shares a common network within
a small area ranging from small room to an office building, an Institute or university campus.
LAN uses wire to connect the computers with each other and computers with some peripheral devices
like internet.
What is Wide Area Network?
From its name we can guess that it is used to connect the computers over a wide area. It is a
computer network that extends over a large area or distance. So distance communication can be done
via WAN connection.  
These all information mentioned above play some role in Web communication. And this
web communication is only done when there is a web page or website which is accessed by a
web browser. So to make this all happen a web based programming language is needed and PHP is
one of the most popular web based programming language. Hence PHP plays a vital role in Website
